First Fundraiser of 2026 is a Scotch Tasting!

Learn about the history of Scotch making and taste some of the finest 15-, 18-, and 21-year-old single malt whiskies. This promises to be an educational and fun evening which includes cuisine with a Scottish flare. All proceeds benefit healthcare in impoverished Honduras.

When: Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Where: Private home in Wilmington, NC
Hosted by: Scotch Master John (and Mary Margaret)
Donation: $150 per Scotch drinker OR $100 per Wine drinker

“Cherish the Memories” Holiday Fundraiser 2025

Our annual holiday fundraiser is significant in supporting the medical services provided by Salud Hondu to those in need in impoverished Honduras, and this year was a huge success! Thanks to all of our donors for your support and generosity.

The Cherish the Memories thank you gift offerings featured vintage ornaments, each in a lovely vintage teacup or espresso cup with cloth cocktail napkin and gold-plated twig spoon. Boasting an age of 60 or more years, the signs of age on these ornaments are part of their beauty and indicative of their historical significance. Some examples are shown here.

Poetry Reading

A poetry reading was held at a private home the first Sunday of December 2025.

Bourbon Tasting

A fun-filled bourbon tasting was held at The Coastal Succulent Design Studio in Wilmington, NC.

100% of the $150 donation for this event is tax deductible and enables our Honduran medical staff to continue to care for over 5,000 patients annually.  This bourbon tasting offered Japanese bourbon whiskey, several unique Texas distillery bourbons, and signature bourbon cocktails to enjoy with hors d’oeuvres along with auction items, and prizes too!  

Create Your Own Live Succulent

A great time was had by all at the “Create Your Own Live Succulent” event, held at The Coastal Succulent Design Studio in Wilmington, NC. Thank you to our wonderful supporters for making this such a successful and fun event. Special thanks to our hosts at The Coastal Succulent Design Studio!
