Salud Hondu’s Officers and Board of Directors

• Laura Vinson – President.  Laura is the director of St. Mary Health Center in Wilmington, NC. She is bilingual in English/Spanish and served as a Board Member prior to becoming President.
• Mike Yarnoz, MD – Vice-President. Mike is a physician and his field of specialty is cardiology.
• Allen Sanderson – Secretary-Treasurer. Allen has background in business and non-profit healthcare.  He currently works for a local training company with a focus on the Life Sciences industry.
• Fr. Robert Kus – Board Member.  Fr. Bob is recently retired as a Priest of the Diocese of Raleigh and serves as advisor and facilitator for our work in Honduras. He is bilingual in English/Spanish.
• Val Cleary – Board Member.  Owner of construction company and restaurant. Val traveled to Reitoca at the outset of Clinica Santa Maria to oversee construction/renovation of our clinic facility.
• Richard Creech – Board Member.  Richard is a Nurse Anesthetist living in Wilmington, NC.
• John Cromer, MD – Board Member.  John is a physician with international health experience as well as public health education and training. John previously served as President of the Board.
